Meet the Teachers!
Ms Whitney

Ms Whitney grew up in Virginia and North Carolina. She received her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Virginia and her Master’s Degree at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Ms Whitney has worked in education for over ten years as an elementary teacher, literacy coach, and curriculum director. During the day Ms Whitney enjoys exploring and imagining at the Museum, but by night she loves playing with her daughter, baking, and reading.
Ms Kimberly

Ms Kimberly grew up on the East Coast and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree at University of Delaware. After school, Ms Kimberly worked as a reading interventionist, ESL teacher, and eventually Kindergarten teacher in Washington DC. When Ms Kimberly is not running around the Museum, you can find her at the rock climbing gym or hiking with her two crazy dogs all over sunny San Diego!
