Activity best for children age 3 and up
This month we are celebrating the country of Argentina! Argentina is a country full of diverse landscapes—this means that depending upon where you go in Argentina there can be different weather, climate, plants, and animals! Today we’re going to learn about the Iguazu Falls. The Iguazu Falls are located on the border between Argentina and Brazil. Iguazu comes from the Tupi or Guarani words that mean “Great Water.” The Falls are made up of a horseshoe of 275 different individual waterfalls that are 1.7 miles in length! This has been deemed one of the seven natural wonders of the world and today you’re going to get to make your own Iguazu waterfall at home!
