Lucy sees a beautiful butterfly in the garden, along with a bright green beetle, a brilliant blue dragonfly, some red ladybugs, and many more flying and crawling things in Butterfly, Butterfly. But when will the radiant butterfly appear again?
Do It Yourself: Bugged Out Artwork
Design your own radiant butterfly! In this science experiment we’ll be exploring chromatography (separating mixtures). We’ll use coffee filters and spray bottles to separate the various pigments in markers to see how the colors move and blend throughout the coffee filter! In this children’s activity, We encourage friends to use bright and happy colors similar to those you would find on butterflies. This craft is mainly focused on learning to identify colors. As children learn to identify, it develops and strengthens their ability to communicate effectively.
