Back to School Scholarship Campaign
San Diego Title-I schools and at-risk children need our help as they head back to school!
At the moment, schools requesting field trip scholarships are being placed on a wait-list due to an increase in requests and lack of funds. As we gear up for the school year here at the Museum, we are preparing for a critical time – we will receive a record-number of scholarship requests from Title-I for Field Trip and Mobile Workshops. Last year, requests from Title-I schools grew by an outstanding 60%. We are so thrilled to support these at-risk communities, but this increase in demand means an additional need for support. To respond to this growing demand, we are kicking off a Back to School Scholarship Campaign to raise funds for children from Title-I schools to receive field trips to the Museum.
Our science, art, and world culture workshops are sometimes the only chance young students have to learn through hands-on play in a structured educational environment. And we are only able to offer assistance because of generous community members and donors like you. Thank you for considering a donation towards our Scholarship Campaign.
