A Bug's Life
April 3 - 7, 2023
This spring we are inviting excited entomologists for a whole week of insect exploration. Campers will enjoy learning about creepy crawly creatures and participate in fun hands-on activities and crafts.
Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m
Ages: Entering Kindergarten-entering 3rd Grade (4* - 8 years old)
- Maximum capacity to ensure a safe and educational experience: 20
- Full week sign-ups only
- 10% discounts for siblings**
*Campers must be able to use bathroom facilities without help from an adult.

A Bug's Life
This week we will be learning all about the life of bugs! Through hands-on daily activities, campers will be introduced to life cycles, bug jobs like pollination, and get the chance to explore the museum gardens to look for bug homes.

9:00-9:15 Drop-off
9:15-9:30 Welcome to Camp
9:30-10:00 Introduction to daily themes + Storytime
10:00-10:45 Museum Exploration*
10:45-11:00 Snack time**
11:00-11:30 Hands-on Science/Engineering Activity
11:30-12:00 Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) Activities: campers can choose from different hands-on activities based on their interest.
12:00-12:45 Museum Exploration*
12:45-1:15 Lunch**
1:15-1:45 Hands-on Art Activity
1:45-2:00 Closing Storytime and Dismissal
*Campers will enjoy indoor and outdoor Museum exploration each day.
**Campers are required to bring their own (peanut-free) snacks and lunches.
